Viking Lamplighter Motel is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewellery or valuables of any kind.

Accepted Payment Methods

Credit (Visa / Mastercard), Debit, Cash, and Interac e-Transfer.
Guests shall pay in full when booking online or upon check-in. Any guests uncomfortable paying online are welcome to pay when they check-in. To receive 10% discount use code SAVE$2024 and MUST PREPAY by Interac e-Transfer at the time of booking. Send full payment (room rate + taxes) to Viking Lamplighter Motel. Age Requirement

To reserve a room at Viking Lamplighter Motel there must be at least 1 adult present in the room (18 years of age or older). The person registering is responsible for all damages caused to the room, furnishings and fixtures on the property.

Cancellation Policy

Guaranteed reservations at Viking Lamplighter Motel must be cancelled by 4:00 pm, 24 hours prior to arrival date to avoid cancellation penalties. If you wish to cancel your reservation within the cancel policy, a 1-night penalty will be applied. PLEASE NOTE ALL PREPAID DISCOUNTED RESERVATIONS ARE NON REFUNDABLE.

NO CANCELLATION for Hockey Teams, Large Crews, Weddings or Reunions within 7 days of arrival.

There will be $200 charge if you want to cancel EXCEPT when Tournament/Event is cancelled or due to  unforeseen circumstances.

Damage Policy

Guests will be held 100% responsible for all damages done to the property. Guests might have to pay a 100% refundable C$200 damage deposit upon check-in. If no damages are present, the guest will receive a full refund of the deposit. Guests may be subject to additional damage costs, depending on the severity of the damage.

Smoking Policy

All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking inside our non-smoking rooms will result in C$200 cleaning fee.

 

Pets Policy

Pets are allowed on request. $10 Per Night per pet Charges  be applicable.

Children and extra beds

Children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing beds.
All older children or adults are charged C$10 per person per night when using existing beds.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is available upon request.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
